Last Saturday, Aurora and I spent our last day on St George Island at the
State Park which occupies and preserves a good portion of the island settled just off of
Florida's Forgotten Coast. Crossing through the gates of the park, you immediately find one of the most beautiful and breathtaking places on Earth. Being late August and just out of tourist season, we had a run of the place practically to ourselves where we took to the boardwalk trails and salt marshes, swam and collected shells and sponges among other treasures to serve as remembrance of our week in paradise. The art and awe of Mother Nature are too delightful not to share!

Here are over twenty scenes from the park which my wife and I captured...

The Anchor just beyond the entrance of the Park serves as the only moment aside from a couple of picnic shelters. The rest is 100% Nature! |

Birds Aurora caught feeding. We watched them swaying about for a while from the road side. |

Sponges I found on our walk on the Beach |

Aurora's bounty of shells filled the bathtub! |
Your art and photos are pretty dang cool!
