I spent the majority of last month working on markers studies of pop culture subjects for the Comic Cons I have coming up I wanted to work on a quicker drawing style aside from my usual illustrations. A big part of working a Con is drawing on the spot and my process takes far too long for that. I don't ever really sketch much other than laying down the groundwork for a finished piece. I also didn't like the idea of just doing pencil drawings for folks when I'm known for popping colors. I set out to over the course of a few weeks to practice creating quick studies with a short range of markers. I ended up with over 60 studies to take to
FanBoy Expo in Knoxville a few weeks back where I was able to confidently draw live for three days to keep myself busy! All the studies I have left are up for grabs in the
